Come See Us at Head Of The Charles® Regatta

Concept2 is the Official Oar and Erg Supplier of the Head Of The Charles® Regatta, October 20–22, 2023, in Boston, Massachusetts. Our team will be along the Charles River once again to welcome competitors, coaches and spectators.

We’ll be located in the regatta Finish Area Launch Site (FALS) next to HUDSON Boatworks, food vendors and Dock 4. The team will be on site with RowErgs, SkiErgs and BikeErgs available to try. As always, we’re offering our Regatta Service for competitors who have equipment repair needs. (Learn more about Regatta Service and what you can expect.) Our teams will be on site starting Thursday, October 19, to accept and begin work on oars and sculls.

For competitors looking to prepare for racing, our warmup tent will be available near the team trailers in Parking Lot 4. These RowErgs and BikeErgs are first-come, first-serve and allow individuals and teams to get in their meters before heading out on the river.

Along with our famous freebies such as Vermont-grown apples from Champlain Orchards and Concept2 lip balm, we’re excited to be showcasing some new Concept2 apparel and other fun items like water bottles, mugs, totes, earrings and more. Don’t miss it—you might even be able to get some early holiday shopping done!

To help our Vermont neighbors and businesses who were devastated in the July flooding, we’ll be encouraging all to accumulate meters on our machines in the booth, and we’ll donate $0.02 for every meter (up to $15,000) to the VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund 2023. Help our neighbors get back on their feet.

The Rowing Industry Trade Association (RITA) will be hosting a job fair on Sunday, October 22, at the Head Of The Charles registration tent from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. We’ll be there to talk with you about what it's like to work for Concept2 and sign you up to get job postings as they become available. Connect your rowing passion to a possible profession!

Concept2 offers rental oars and sculls for those unable to trailer to the event. While our rental deadline has passed, these oars and sculls are also available for sale after the event (pickup on Sunday, October 22 only). We also sell all the machines we bring so if you’re looking to purchase equipment at the Head Of The Charles, please contact info@concept2.com with the subject line “Charles.”
