Concept2 at this Year’s Head Of The Charles® Regatta

It’s exciting to see on-water racing return for the 2021 Head Of The Charles® Regatta after the cancellation of so many regattas in light of COVID-19. The Concept2 Regatta Service Trailer will again be on-site to assist competitors with their oar needs. However, things will look a little different than in normal years and our focus for 2021 is on oar repairs and rentals.

We will accept oars and sculls for service beginning at noon on Thursday, October 21, for our free Regatta Service. Our team will also be on site to answer any questions you may have regarding our products, training and technology. However, to minimize close interactions, we will not be handing out free items such as apples, cheese, stickers or posters this year.

Customers dropping off oars for repair will also notice a pattern of one way traffic through the check in and pickup processes. We appreciate athletes and coaches follow this path to minimize close contacts with others. RowErgs for warming up will not be available this year; teams should plan to bring any equipment they may need before launching.

To ensure the safety of our employees, our staff will be wearing masks on site. Concept2 employees who will be on site are vaccinated per company policy. We appreciate that visitors to our booth also mask up.

We expect our oar service to be as busy as ever. We look forward to assisting crews and helping them catch up with their repair needs.
