Concept2 at the 2022 Head Of The Charles®

Concept2 is the Official Oar and Erg Supplier of the 56th Head Of The Charles® Regatta, October 21-23, 2022, in Boston, Massachusetts. Our team will be along the Charles River once again to welcome competitors, coaches and spectators.

We’ll be located in the regatta Finish Area Launch Site (FALS) next to HUDSON Boatworks, food vendors and Dock 4. The team will be on site with RowErgs, the SkiErg and BikeErg available to try. Along with our famous freebies such as Vermont-grown apples from Champlain Orchards in Vermont, we’ll be showcasing the features of our free ErgData app.

We’re offering our Regatta Service for competitors who have equipment repair needs. (Learn more about Regatta Service and what you can expect.) Our teams will be on site starting Thursday, October 20, to accept and begin work on oars and sculls.

For competitors looking to prepare for racing, our warmup tent will be available near team trailers in Parking Lot 4. These RowErgs are first-come, first-serve and allow individuals and teams to get in their meters before heading out on the river. With limited time on the course available, we’re honored to be the athlete choice for race preparedness.

Concept2 is excited to help international and far-flung competitors with their equipment needs; we offer rental oars and sculls for those unable to trailer to the event. These oars and sculls are also available for sale after the event (pickup on Sunday, October 23 only).
